Summer Camps 2012
Kids Cabaret
This week long summer camp focuses on the three main components of musical theatre. Singing, dancing and acting! Your student will have a blast as they sing and dance to styles ranging from classic musical theatre ballads to funky hip-hop. Students will build confidence playing improv games, working on group acting scenes, and so much more! There will be a final performance for families and friends on CTA's mainstage. The performance will take place on Friday during the last hour of camp. Don't forget to send in a pre-washed t-shirt for your student to tie-dye and wear for the performance!

Wee Kids Cabaret
Do you have a little performer at home? We have the workshop for you!
Students will meet others with similar interests and build social skills
through singing, dancing and acting out our favorite stories. Students will
gain insight on becoming a character and movement skills. There will be an
exciting performance on the final day at 12:30pm.
Ages 5-7, 10am-1pm
Session 1- July 23-27
Session 2- August 6-10

Guidelines
Camp will start promptly at the scheduled time. Please be on time to drop-off and pick-up your student and remember that summer Bay Bridge traffic adds to travel time.
Each student is required to bring their own snacks and lunch, including drinks, each day. Please NO food containing peanuts or tree nuts. This is a nut FREE camp!
Because the floor and stage spaces are limited, class instructors, students and board members are the only people allowed in the classroom and theater during rehearsal times.
Students are expected to dress appropriately for the stage. This means sneakers/tennis shoes only (NO crocs, sandals, or flip-flops). This is to protect them from injury. Students need to be able to jump, dance, run, and stretch on stage, so comfortable "workout or play clothing" are needed, no skirts or dresses. Long hair (or bangs) need to be pulled back.
Attendance is extremely important. Students are a part of a class, and more importantly, a drama team. Fellow classmates/actors are depending upon each student to do their part. Please let the instructor know if you will be missing a class.
Student are not allowed to have cell phones, toys, games or other electronic devices. The instructor will have a phone for emergency use.
